CMF allocates $650K to 13 Indigenous production companies through Indigenous Company Impact Support Program

Toronto, March 26, 2025 — The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced the 13 Indigenous-owned and -operated production companies that will receive $50,000 through the Indigenous Company Impact Support (ICIS) Program.

Announced last January, ICIS funding supports companies with projects funded by our Indigenous Program in 2022–2023 or 2023–2024. ICIS funding may be applied to a range of activities that promote professional and company advancement including company stabilization or growth, training and capacity building, community engagement, market access, marketing, accessibility support, translation and language services, and other activities as identified by applicants.
