The Honourable Scott Reid, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, has announced the following relative to Environmental Assessment – Part 10 – of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:

Musgrave Harbour Ball Ridge Quarry                                                  (Reg. 2354)
Proponent: Coady Construction & Excavating Limited

The proponent proposes to develop a 2.4-hectare quarry located at Ball Ridge in Musgrave Harbour. Quarry operations would involve the extraction of rock, armour stone, and pit run material to support ongoing construction and infrastructure projects in the area. The undertaking was registered on May 12, 2025. The deadline for public comment is June 16, 2025, and the minister’s decision is due by June 26, 2025.
