Are you a community leader working with Indigenous youth (ages 15-21) who are eager to develop valuable skills and make a positive impact in their community? The #YouthLeadersUnlimited program is here to help empower your youth to take on leadership roles in after-school programs and summer camps, creating meaningful change in your community!

In partnership with Dawn Currie from the Recreation and Parks Association of Nunavut (RPAN), we are excited to bring this proven program to Manitoba. For over 10 years, the Youth Leaders Unlimited program has supported more than 1,500 youth in Nunavut, helping them build essential leadership skills and gain real-world experience. Now, it’s time for YOUR community to be part of this incredible opportunity!

What Will Your Youth Gain?

This program is designed to help Indigenous youth develop skills that will benefit them for years to come, and it’s completely free! Here’s what your youth can expect:

  • First Aid Certification;
  • Leadership & Team Building Skills;
  • Communication, Goal Setting, & Planning;
  • Real-life Work Experience in after-school programs and summer camps.

These valuable skills not only help youth become better leaders in their community but also prepare them for future opportunities in school, career, and life.

Why Should Your Community Get Involved?

The Youth Leaders Unlimited program is about more than just skill-building-it’s about empowering youth to become the leaders of tomorrow. Here’s why your community should consider getting involved:

  • Empower Youth to shape the future of their communities through leadership;
  • Promote mental wellness and build healthier, more resilient communities;
  • Provide youth with transferable skills that will serve them in school, careers, and throughout their lives.

This is a unique opportunity to support youth who are ready to take on leadership roles and make a lasting impact on their communities. By investing in the next generation of leaders, you’re helping to create a brighter future for everyone.
