Government of Nunavut receives ‘Canada’s Top Employers for Young People’ Award

Iqaluit, Nunavut The Government of Nunavut (GN) has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People by Canada’s Top 100 Employers.
“The recognition of the Government of Nunavut as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People in the Top 100 Employers awards is a testament to our ongoing commitment to fostering culturally relevant and supportive programs and policies that distinguish us as an employer,” said Minister of Human Resources Pamela Gross.
The Government of Nunavut was selected as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People in part thanks to staff development programs such as the Amaaqtaarniq Education Program, and Sivuliqtiksat Internship Program. Canada’s Top Employers for Young People recognizes employers that excel in creating outstanding work environments for young professionals embarking on their careers.
The organizations recognized on this list are acknowledged as leaders in attracting and nurturing the next generation of talent in Canada.
