Materials deemed toxic in 2006 remain on B.C. site

METCHOSIN, B.C. — More than 160 truckloads of soil and rubble laced with toxic chemicals will sit for a second winter on the Beecher Bay Reserve, despite an expert recommendation in May that the material be removed.
