National Chief Addresses Annual First Nations Leading the Way Conference

(October 7, 2025 – Markham, Ontario) – National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will address the delegation of the annual First Nations Leading the Way conference, an event that brings together hundreds of First Nations leaders to discuss financial management, fiscal relations with Canada, and governance systems beyond the Indian Act and Modern treaties. The National Chief will speak to First Nations priorities in the upcoming Federal Budget.
