Revived support for once scrapped Northern Gateway pipeline project amid Trump tariff concerns

As U.S. president Donald Trump pledges tariffs on Canadian products are coming on February 1, some Canadian business leaders and politicians are pushing for a revived Northern Gateway pipeline project to get Canada’s oil and gas to Asian markets. As CBC’s Katie DeRosa reports, some First Nations leaders who once opposed the pipeline, are now open to it.
