The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is asking for your support this holiday season.

As we observe the #16DaysofActivism to End Gender-Based Violence, SCO is launching a donation drive to collect items to support an Indigenous women and children’s shelter in Winnipeg named Ikwe Widdjiitiwin Inc.

We are also collecting non-perishable foods for a grassroots food bank called Koko’s Pantry in Ebb and Flow First Nation.

Please consider providing us with the following donations:

  • Christmas gift for women and children (ages 0-18)
  • Winter boots
  • Winter clothing
  • New undergarments
  • Non-perishable foods
  • Any other items that support women and children seeking shelter

We are accepting donations starting today until our Holiday Open House on December 9, 2025.

You can drop off your donations to either of our two Winnipeg office locations:

  • 202 – 600 Empress Street
  • 1572 Dublin Avenue

Please drop your items off between regular office hours from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Our Dublin location closes for lunch from 12 to 1 pm.

Thank you in advance for your donations as we work to make the holiday season brighter for all.
