AHMA’s 2025 Annual Report provides a comprehensive overview of annual updates, achievements, and financials.
AHMA published 36 News Releases and 11 Success Stories in 2025.

AHMA regularly makes government submissions to advance culturally safe, trauma-informed, and equitable approaches to Indigenous housing and homelessness in BC. Released two major national strategies:

Indigenous Youth Housing Strategy (IYHS)

Indigenous Gender-Based Violence Housing Strategy (IGBVHS)

Submitted a resolution to the UBCM Executive through the Indigenous Relations Committee.

AHMA’s Asset Strategies Team published or was featured in:

Published Resilient Futures: Empowering Indigenous Housing Providers: Advancing Energy Equity and Climate Resilience Through Policy, Funding, and Indigenous-Led Solutions.

A published article From Trusted Wood to Trusted Prefab Homes.

Multiple features in the news, including an Op-Ed in the Vancouver Sun. Launched an interactive Point-in-Time Count Dashboard, providing accessible 2021, 2023, and 2025 homelessness data to support community-led solutions.

Provided a formal submission to the National Housing Council’s Neha Review Panel, identifying persistent barriers facing Indigenous women, 2SLGBTQQIA+ people, and the providers who support them, and offering actionable federal recommendations. Submitted AHMA’s response to the Build Canada Homes Initiative.

Completed submissions on the Supportive Housing Policy Indigenous Housing Needs Assessment Tool, funded by CMHC.

Launched the Declaration webpage in early 2025.

AHMA’s new Connections Map is now live on our website.
