Hear from Nicole Blackman, RN, Chief Operating Officer and Christi-Ann Poulette, RN, Health System Transformation Manager at the Indigenous Primary Health Care Council (IPHCC), who have shared their insights about Indigenous health and nursing.
IPHCC is an Indigenous governed, culture-based, and Indigenous-informed organization that supports the advancement and evolution of Indigenous primary health care service provision and planning throughout Ontario.
CNO is committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion and we honour the diverse identities and contributions of nurses, our system partners and the public, who all play a role in enriching health care in Ontario. We thank IPHCC for filming this video at their offices located on the traditional territory of Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, and acknowledge David R. Maracle, the Indigenous artist behind the music in this video.
